Hey everyone!..I know it's been a long time, but I figured that I needed to update this..My name has once again fallen to the bottom of the lists..Haha..Instead of writing down all that has happened, I think it would be better for me to "show" you pictures..I know pictures are better to describe things than words (for you who are visual learners)..Here it goes

PASE Board 2003-2004 - Don't we look hot??..Haha

PASE Board 2004-2005

Panda Luv : (L-R) Gerri (Vocals), Mike (Guitar), Me (Drums), Eric (Vocals), Jason (Bass)

I love the sib family..Especially the core family (Jason, Eric, Mike, Gerri, Ate Jan, Kim, J9)..I don't know what college would be like without them..

Ate Jan, Me, and Comedian Rex Navarette

There are more pictures I wanna post but I'll just save those for next time..Thank you to Ate Jan for hosting this bomb diggety song for me..Finals week is soon approaching and I'm a little scared about them..I hope I do well this quarter..I can't wait till break when I get to spend time with the family..Yay for Disneyland!!..Whoo hoo!..Anyhoo, hope everyone's doing well..Have a great day/week/month/year everyone!

- It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday - - - - -

I’m back ..First off, I’d like to give a shout out to Liney, for constantly reminding me to update my Xanga..Haha..Miss u cousin!..Another shout out to Leslie, my lust, who convinced me to write once again in this..I lust you!!..I will warn you that this will be a long entry, but this is what happens when I don’t update for 1 whole summer..I will also include lots of pictures..Enjoy!

Last week in June:
I did a whole lot of driving..It was mostly driving to the airport to pick up relatives who flew down to the bay area for my brother's wedding..I've never done that much driving before!..But it was very rewarding to see my relatives again after several years..It was practically a family reunion, minus the holiday..Well, they were here for the 4th of July holiday..Hehe..It was hard to believe that the wedding was only going to happen in a matter of a few days..We were all very excited!

July 4, 2004 : The Centeno-Diaz Wedding

This must have been one of the happiest days in my life..It was honestly weird to see my brother as the groom, but the smile on his face made me realize how proud it was for me to be his sister..Man my kuya is old..Haha..I was pleased to be their maid of honor, since in the past weddings I've been in, I've only been the bridesmaid..Little did I know that being the maid of honor meant doing a whole lot of "grunt-work" for the bride..It was also a very hot day and that made my job a little more difficult..But I think it was well worth the title..At the reception, I couldn't help but cry, and I'm sorry for making Caroline cry as well..It was mostly tears of joy over how happy I was for my brother..But I have to admit that during the slideshow, I was crying while looking at Baby Julie's pictures..I'm grateful that I can now share my memories with her, but I wish I could've been there for her during her first year..I can only look forward to what the future brings and not dwell on the past..I was delighted to see many faces whom I haven't seen in at least a decade..Thanx to family and friends from Pinole, Hercules, Washington, Texas, Vallejo, Davis, SF, SSF, Daly City, and from far away towns who traveled to join us in this festive event. The wedding has surely brought unity to family, friends, and relatives both near and far..Congratulations Kuya and Ate!..I love you both very much!

The following week was dedicated to spending quality time with the cousins..We all went to : Hooter’s in Dublin, Fisherman’s Wharf Pier 39, Mini Golfing at Scandia twice, movies to watch Spiderman 2..Also got to check out Tech TV (The ScreenSavers) with Liney, Ate Jan, D, and Moon..Lots of fun being with the PASE Alumni..Feels like they're part of the family too..It was a blast just kicking with all of my cousins after like 2 years of not seeing nor keeping in touch with each other..I miss you guys!

D, Me, Liney, Ate Jan, and Moon

July 16-August 1, 2004:

My nursing trainers Lisa and Thelma, with yours truly in the middle =)

Worked in Washington as a nursing assistant..Had a blast!..It was worthwhile spending time with the kiddies at the clinic..The tough part was trying to speak Spanish to their parents since I didn’t study up on medical words..But I learned a lot of new words from working there..Thank you AP Spanish..Haha..Also had fun kicking it with Caroline..The things I won’t forget are EMP, Mocha Latte Freezes from Costco, and driving around for fun..

My Cousin Caroline and I in front of their newly landscaped lawn

August:
Started summer school for Physics..Wasn’t too bad, considering how I dislike Physics..But for some reason, I actually enjoyed this class..Met a lot of new friends, and chopped it up with my friend Alfred from Confirmation..He taught me new terms : Farquad (which is supposed to be Farad) and Toroidal..Haha..Thanx to everyone who made me feel welcomed..I actually felt smart for once..Hahaha..Also kicked it with the Sib Family..I missed them a whole lot..Thanx guys for taking care of me..I love u guys!

My cousin, Jemma’s birthday party
Freakin a, it felt like a high school reunion..LITERALLY..It’s been a year or 2 since I saw my hs classmates..When I got to cuzz’s house, the first person I saw was Jeffrey..And I was not expecting to see him at all..He’s so buff!..Haha..Then chopped it up with Jeff, Krystle and Mary for a little bit, until Derek D and Javi came..Soonafter, Akira and Kristine went to cuzz’s house..Arnold didn’t have a car, so Mary and Krystle went to swoop him up from his place..He lost weight!..Haha..They said there was another party in SF, so I went with them to the city..Surprisingly, my mom let me go out with them, considering how it was already 10p.m..I’m such a party animal..Haha..Anyhoo, on the way there, since we were hella lost, I get a call from Nikol..I haven’t talked to her since we graduated!..When we got to the place, we saw Kevin, Angela, Joejo, Russell, and James M..We didn’t stay there too long, seeing as how we were hungry, and “Mary & I” needed to get back home early..;)..First checked out Krispy Kreme, but then migrated over to In-n-out in Daly City..There we saw Sean..He’s chubby..Hahaha..But soonafter we got our food, we had to go to In-n-out in Pinole to meet up with Ryan and some folks and saw that Ian was working there..So in one night, I saw 15 of my high school classmates and talked to one on the phone..Good times!..All we did was tell stories the whole night..The quote I will remember from that night is, “I was sweating so much that man, I had to massage her head!”..LOL..I will not mention who said this quote, but I love him lots!..Haha..BFK, thanx for reminding me of the friendship we still have..You guys are amazing..I’ll miss you all dearly..

Jeff, Me, Krystle, Mary, Jenn, Jenn's friend, Akira, Kristine, Arnold, Derek, Robert, and Javi

My loves, Arnold and Jeffrey with me...."We could've been a couple" =P

My first girlfriend and lover, Krystle, and I being the crazy women we both are

My birthday cousin, Jenn, and I..We practically grew up together!

So now, I’m just at home and had the urge to update my Xanga..Sorry if it’s freaking long..Keep in touch everyone!..I will update tomorrow about my fun day with the Sib Family..Mahalo!

Why is it soooooooooo hot??

Sunday, June 27, 2004: UC Davis
My debut and aspirations of becoming a photographer came true yesterday..I felt so honored when Kuya asked me to take his and Sis' engagement pictures in Davis..Unfortunately, it was about 90+ degrees outside, so that made picture taking quite a challenge..But it was really fun!..

This was the camera I used..The Olympus C-8080..
8.0 Megapixels..Wow..Never in my life was I given the opportunity to use such a sophisticated camera for photography..It was quite exciting, but I had to be careful since it's really expensive..It's gonna be tough trying to take future pictures with my whack 3.2 Megapixel HP Digital Camera..*sigh*..Too bad I can't use this camera next year as PASE Co-Historian..Haha..

Dutton Hall at UC Davis
I wish that the trees didn't overshadow most of the brick ground, but I'm a freak for nature and building pictures anyway..As my brother says, "take postcard pictures," so this was the intent I had in mind..Gives it a sorta "scenic" feel in my opinion..

My Sister-in-Law, Baby, and Kuya
I think this is one of my best pictures ever..Also, this is probably one of my favorite pictures out of all the 70+ pictures I took..I like how the sun just radiates behind them..It looks so professional!..Haha..Sorry if I sound full of myself but I'm really amazed at how these pictures turned out..

After the picture taking, we went to my brother's apartment to wait for Moon and D to arrive..Last night was my brother's bachelor party with the wedding boys..When they left, Jay, Sis, Baby, and I went to ghetto Vacaville to eat at Chili's..The reason why it's so ghetto is cuz 2 of the orders we asked for weren't available..How hard is it to prepare a skillet queso???..Grr!..Oh well..Food was yummy anyway..

I hope that Kuya and Sis like the pictures I took..I can't wait till the wedding!..Whoo hoo!..Congratulations and best of luck Kuya and Sis!..Gotta start writing a speech now..Haha..PASE outtie everyone!

I'm back..Sorry for not keeping y'all updated..Been super busy with lots of stuff..Here's a little summary of my last 3 months...

April 9: My 20th birthday
This was a cool day..The first person to greet me was of course my babe ..Aww..He gave me the coolest present ever..a Family Guy shirt with Chris Griffin saying, "Haha.I'm gonna turn you into poo" and a uber cool orange Giant's visor..Deuce9 babe ..Then, Eric took me to Electronic's boutique and bought a N64 along with Mario Tennis for me..What a dork..I hate him!!!..Haha..Just kidding..Thanks a lot Eric..Shut up..After my day at Davis, I went back home to meet up with my family..Since that day was Good Friday, we weren't allowed to eat meat..So we ended up trying the "Dead Fish" in Crockett..The food wasn't as I expected..On a scale from 1-10, I'd probably rate the food to be 4..Don't go there for the food..Go for the nice view of the Carquinez Bridge..Hehe

April 30-May 1: PCN weekend
Man was this event exciting..I danced Binasuan, sang for MK Choir, and helped with Stayge Krew..2 days of extreme stress but pure fun..I was especially proud of choir for singing the anthems really well (since we had the best choir director ), binasuan girls for not dropping the glasses, stayge krew for doing a good job with props, gerri for playing the role of charlene really well, and auntie j9 for her hard work into this production..Soon after, I'm sure I suffered from PPCNs, but it was an honor to be printed on the front page of the California Aggie..Whoo hoo!

May 15, 2004: PASE Banquet
Great job Ms. Janet for organizing such a great banquet!!..Banquet was fun, mainly because I was there with those people that I truly care about, aside from my family..First off, Jay, Gerri, and I had to get there early to transport the instruments to the hotel in Sacramento..Luckily, I had my van, so tranporting the drum set, stands, and guitars was not that much of a problem..Banquet started about an hour after getting there, and everything went smoothly..Panda Luv, the band consisting of Mike, Jay, Eric, Gerri, and I performed. First, we played "Officially Missing You" (Mike on the drums, Jay on the guitar, me on the bass, Eric with the egg shaker, and Gerri on vocals)..Then after, we switched up the instruments and performed the 2 Incubus songs, "Certain Shade of Green," and "Summer Romance"..This time, Mike played the guitar, Jay was on the bass, Gerri on the egg shaker, me on the drums, and Eric on vocals..Yay for Eric for singing!!..I'm so proud of you ..When banquet was over, Ate Jan and I headed back to Pinole to get a good night's / morning's sleep

May 16, 2004: Day after Banquet
Ate Jan spent the night at my house..I was surprised to find that she woke up before me..We went to church at noon, but since I was low on gas, I cruised down our hill on neutral..Haha..Ate Jan was laughing at how ghetto I am..Hahaha..Then we had a fun-filled afternoon with Julie and her entertaining acts..What a doll..Thanx for kicking it with me sis!..Hope you had a blast

May 29, 2004: Napa Wine Train

The Hotties: (L to R): Grace, Helery, Aileen, Me, and Sis

My first time kicking it with Sis, Helery, Aileen, and Grace..Acutally, this was the day that I did some "firsts"..All I can say about this day is, "What an experience!"..The trip there was the most exhilarating ride ever!..Felt like a roller-coaster ride!..Haha..We were running a little late, according to the schedule..First, we take a wrong turn in Vallejo so we busted a b on Broadway..So we're driving along Sonoma Blvd, and since we're going to Napa, I think that we have to take Hwy 37..I say that 37's on the next left turn, so we pass up like 30 cars to go to the left turn lane..Then Aileen realizes that we need to go straight and stay on Hwy 29, so when the light turned green, Helery revs up her engine and passes up the old woman in front of the long car chain..Hahaha..My heart was honestly racing right after that happened..Haha..But soon after, Aileen received a call informing her that the time given to her was only the starting check-in time..We didn't need to rush at all!..The train ride was absolutely gorgeous!..Best of all, we had a waiter whose alma-mater was Davis..Yay for him ..Also got to see Robert Mondavi's winery..After the train ride, we drove up to Calistoga to V. Sattui's winery..According to Sis, the Muscat is one of the best dessert wines out there, so we had to try it out..Too bad I'm not 21 yet..Hehe..But that didn't mean that I couldn't taste it..Whoops! ..Then, we all hit up a massage parlor, which was situated at a motel..Or maybe it was a motel situated at the massage parlor..I had never gotten a massage before since I have sensitive nerves running all over my body..Haha..I was also hoping that I wouldn't get a guy..But to my dismay, I ended up with a guy ..The tricky part was getting half naked and putting your trust into some stranger to touch your body..Believe me, I had bombarded Sis with so many questions regarding the procedures and what not..Sorry sis!..But it felt really nice in the end..I had wished that the massage session wasn't so short..Oh well..The girls and I relaxed ourselves with some ice-cream, then it was home..Thanx 2702 girls for the fantabulous time!

June 19, 2004: The Bachelorette Party
The setting was Asia SF..For those who are not familiar with Asia SF, it's a place where gender illusionists perform several acts to keep us entertained during meal times..Downstairs, there's a 21 and over club..But I got in ;)..Hahaha..It's so great to act older when  you're not and to get away with it....Who attended?..Mainly the PASE girls (Ate Jan, Ate Julie, Ate Roxanne, Michelle Togs, Vanessa, me), Ate Lolet, and of course, the bachelorette herself, sis..It was actually a surprise party that we planned for her..I had to ask Kuya to help me with providing Sis with the ride to Asia SF, but originally, she had thought that she's going to Ate Rox's birthday party at the Metreon..Her real birthday was really in December but we figured that Sis wouldn't know..Haha..Pretty slick, huh?..Dinner lasted for about an hour, and we were all given a sample of every item on the menu..Plus, the waitresses performed several numbers while we ate..Man, we all felt depressed cuz those girls were hot!!..Haha..Kinda felt homosexual after those performances..Haha..Don't worry..This feeling was only temporary..Let's just say that after what happened downstairs in the club, I was 100% girl again..Hahaha..I had a blast, and I'm glad that Sis enjoyed too..Congratulations Sis!..I luv ya

Well, this entry has been long enough..I'll try to update more, provided I feel the motivation to..Haha..Hope all's well!..Take care!..Until next time

Monday, March 29, 2004

Hello everyone!..How r u all doing?..Hope everything's dandy ..Just want to share a few thoughts with you all rite now about my cool and chillin few days that passed..Here it goes...

Thursday (3/25)- PASE Spring Trip: I actually woke up in the morning, considering how the night/day before, I slept for12 hours..Haha ..I left the house at 11am to meet up with Babe, then drove to So. City to pick up Ate Jan..We ate a small lunch over there before heading over to the Metreon..Babe never saw Filipino sausages prior to that day ..Haha ..He was weirded out at how Filipino sausages were really red..LoL..Soon after, the three of us went to the Metreon..It was pretty fun, except for the part where Babe and I had a little misunderstanding ..Misunderstanding you ask??..Well, it started because I didn't want to watch the movie the PASErs watched (Dawn of the Dead) since I was terrified of horror flicks..Babe didn't watch the movie either because he didn't want me to be alone..Although that was a sweet gesture, I knew that he truly wanted to watch the movie instead of being with boring old me..We got into a minor argument, but it got resolved over food, being amused at the action pad, looking at potential "bombas" at some anime shop and seeing an actual "bombas" book being sold for 30% off  ..Eric missed out on that opportunity ..Hehe..After 2 hours of productive bumming around, the PASErs get back from the movie and Ate Jan and Eye told me that the movie was whack except for the sneak peak previews..Hehe..The girls should watch Troy, huh Eye?....Later that evening, we ate dinner at Bubba Gumps at Pier 39..Had some very yummy Fish and Chips while some of the other PASErs ordered burgers and what not..All in all, Thursday was cool

Friday (3/26)- Cleaning: Didn't do anything that day but clean my nasty car since dumb berries attacked my car on Tuesday..Argh..That's what I get for parking under a tree at Davis..At least my car is spotless now..

Saturday (3/27)-Winter in Springtime?: My family and I took baby to the snow..Boy did she have a blast..What's cute was when she tried to throw snow at me, and the snow stuck to her glove..Haha ..She kept trying to throw it at me, but gave up and just rubbed the snow on my pants ..Haha ..For a 2-year-old, she knows how to find loopholes..Then we drove up to Reno just to chill, since it was only an hour away from the Sno-park we went to..I won several stuffed animals, but I wasted hella flow on one game when I could've been getting hella tickets instead for the money I spent..Oh well ..Baby was so cute cuz I made her put in the quarters in the games' slots for me, and everytime she inserted the quarter, she'd raise her arm up as if she won the jackpot or something..Haha ..Then we all headed back home at midnight..Fun times

Sunday (3/28)- Musical-filled day: After going to church in the morning, my cousin and I went to SF to watch the new musical, "Mamma Mia"..Since the songs used in the musical were from the 80's group, ABBA, I was seriously expecting the story-line to portray the life of the ABBA group members, with multi-colors, huge sweaters with spandex pants, and haphazard hair styles..After all, that was the 80's trendsetting style, rite?..But, the story was really well thought out, and based on the songs by ABBA..I really enjoyed it, and I would recommend it to anyone who has a passion for musicals and romance..Later that evening, I went to a farewell party for my dad's church choir's pianist, who decided to venture off to the world and leave the choir..He had been the pianist for 9 years and he's only a year older than me..I chopped it up with him and a new friend, who happened to be the son of a choir member..It seemed normal to me, since I do kick it with guys a lot..But for the parents, it might have looked awkward seeing me have a conversation with 2 guys, since I was the only girl in the group..Hehe..I had fun listening to "study group" stories from Jonathan and talking about how being an engineering major is practically suicide, since Mark is also an engineering student at UCLA..Haha..At least a non-UCD student knows how I feel....Yay!

Well, that about sums up my weekend, with Thursday and Friday included..Sorry if it was a rather long entry..It's not often you see me update this thing, so feel priviledged ..Until next blog..Good nite and sweet dreams!
